Job Description:
As an accountant at Nordend Group AG, you will be responsible for managing all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets. You will play a key role in supporting the financial health of the company by analyzing financial information, preparing accurate and timely financial reports, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and a passion for accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all accounting transactions
• Prepare budget forecasts
• Assist the publishing of financial statements on time
• Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closures.

Requirements:

• Fluent German skills in writing and speaking (preferably on a native level)

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA certification (preferred but not required for entry-level positions)

Experience:

• 0-2 years of relevant work experience in accounting or finance
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) is a plus
• Good and savvy IT user.

Skills:

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts
• Proficiency in MS Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
